Mr. Wilson thus hopes to prevent his opponents in America rejecting the treaty, as it ' would destroy peace. The British V and French consider that the time I for the league is not yet ripe, and ; i that the solution of the preliminary f: peace problems cannot await com.f pletion of the league.
