MURDER CHARGE.
WOMAN SENT FOR TRIAL. [Br TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NELSON, Tuesday. At the Magistrate's Court, Emma Caroline Fletcher, a married woman, 38 years of age, appeared on remand, before Mr. Evans, S.M., charged that on or about February 27, 1919, sho did unlawfully use an instrument on Friede Ruby Sandel. with intent to procure a miscarriage. A further charge again the accused was that on March 4 she murdered Friede Ruby Sandel. Accused reserved her defence, and was committed for trial. He question of bail was allowed to stand over.
