Mr. Justice Sankey states that the reports of the Coal Commission will be presented on March 20. Mr. William Straker, secretary of the Northumberland Miners' Association, stated in evidence that it was useless to ask the miners to refrain from striking unless Nationalisation was approved, giving tho miners joint control. ' , Mr. Straker suggested that ,a raining council of five representatives appointed by the Ministry for Mines and five miners should be empowered id open and work the miqes and sell and distribute tho coal, -
