Tho marching of the children was creditable, the boys, of the Vermont Street school giving a particularly fine exhibition. In athletic circles the various events wero considered most successful, and a good performance was given by A. Watson, of the Garrison Artillery, who won the 880 yds and 440 yds easily, for the thud consocutivo occasion, , ~ Special provision was mado for sideshows and children's events, and dancing and basketball were enjoyable diversions.
