In tie Rugby football inter-services tournament Australia (8 points) defeated South Africa (5). Suttor scored a brilliant try, which Stenning converted. The firßt half ended with the scores oven. REPRESENTATIVES. i Arrangements for the forthcoming tour of ! Australia by a New Zealand team were mado i by the New Zealand Ruby League Council I at its last meeting. It was deoided to ap- ' point threo selectors, two from Auckland • »'ad one from Canterbury. Messrs Jas. i Carlow and H. Oakley were appointed i managers of the touring team. Mr. Carlow will act as team manager and Mr. Oakley will conduct the business of the tour. It was decided to ask the English League to arrange a tour for next year.

SUNNYSIDE CLUB. THE ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of members of tho Sunnysido League Football Club was bold at Devonport. There was a large attendance of members. It was decided .to form a social club, which will be opened in about a month, in Hayward's Buildings, Victoria Road. Devonport. During the evening tho Mayor of Devonport. Mr. J. Henderson, unveiled the club's roll of honour— handsome placju*. containing 87 names. _ Nineteen club men made the supreme sacrifice during the war. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, Sir J, G. Ward; president, Mr. W. P. Hayward; club captain, Mr W. J. O'Sliaughneasy; hon. secretary, Mr. S. M. Wynyard: Son. treasurer, Mr. C.
