BISHOP'S SEAPLANE TOUR.
RETURN TO AUCKLAND. VALUABLE EXPERIENCE. The visit by seaplane to the Coromandel peninsula by Dr. H. W. Clear}, Roman Catholio Bishop of Auckland, was successfully concluded yesterday. He left Tairua in the morning, and in a 27-min-utes' flight reached Kuaotunu. There His Lordship held a confirmation service, there being 14 candidates. Afterwards he vra3 ; , conveyed iu the seaplane, by Mr. Vivian % Walsh, to Coromandel, wh'ere all the ] children and most of the adult population turned out at tho wharf to see the sea- '* plane arrive and, shortly afterwards, to A witness her departure.
