Acting, it is understood, on the opinion of the Solicitor-General, the Minister for Justice will withhold the returns until all the votes have been recorded. The Government has notified the Press Association that immediately the Ministei for Justice receives the statements of the returning officers and those from the officers appointed to take the votes of members of the Expeditionary Forces, the result of the poll will be gazetted.
