DANISH KING AND BUFFS.

THE LIEUTENANTS CAP BADGE. On the occasion of the visit of King Christian to British repatriated prisoners of war at Sandholm camp, in Denmark, the following incident took place :— The King, who is honorary colonel of the Bulls, inquired whether there were any men of his regiment in camp. Un this proving to be the case, his Majesty expressed a wish to meet them all. The Buffs accordingly lined up on the parade ground, when suddenly a lieutenant, stepping forward and removing his regimental badge -from his cap. asked the King's acceptance of it as, a token of gratitude for what he had done for tho prisoners of war oi his regiment.
