DAY OF LARGE SCORES.

Matches in the Auckland Cricket Association's championship weie played on various grounds on Saturday,. The weather ■was excellent, and conditions generally favoured the batsmen. NORTH SHORE V. PARNELL. The North Shore-Parnell match was commenced on Eden Park. Shore batted first, making the largest score of the afternoon— 480 runs for nine wickets.
