MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT.

FARMER FATALLY INJURED.

OTHER OCCUPANTS ESCAPE.

HAWERA, Thursday.

A motor-car accident occurred near Hawera yesterday morning, and the driver of the car, Mr. Frederick Gustav Bremer, aged 56 years, a married farmer, living at Patea, died in the afternoon from injuries received. Mr. Bremer, with his son Harvey, and Mr. and Mrs. Ayers, was motoring to the Hawera Show, and when near the town, either a tyre burst or an axle broke, and the car overturned Mr. Bremer sustained serious injuries, being pinned beneath the car. He was removed to Nnrse White's hospital, where he succumbed during the afternoon. The other occupants escaped with a shaking.
