CHRISTIAN TEMPERANCE .

The Auckland District Women's Chris, tian Temperance Union met on Wednesday afternoon. There was a good attendance. Votes of sympathy were passed to Mr. and Mrs. Caughey and Mrs. J. J. Craig, on the loss of their sons overseas. Af'jutant Gordon was elected a vicepresident of the union, Mrs. Reuben Bailey gave an address on the prohibition campaign, urging all present to do the.ic part to secure victory. Miss Rimmer sang a solo.
