Corporation Notices. ipiTY OF AUCKLAND ,U ' THE LOCAL BODIES' LOANS ACT, 1913." PROPOSED LOAN OF £165.000 FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS IN THE CITY OF AUCKLAND. i The Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of ' the City of Auckland hereby gives notice, in pursuance of Section 9 of the abovementioned Act:i I.—That tho purpose for which the loan is ; required is the execution of street improvement works in portion of the City of Auckland (being the whole of the said City, other than and excepting the Grey Lynn area), including particularly the following works: — (a) The paving in concrete or some other permanent material of tho following streets or portions thcreoi— Albert Street. Wyndkam Street. Federal Street. Victoria Street West. dittos Street. Manukau Road. Remuera Koad. Ponsonby Road. Customs Street West. Sturdee Street. Beatty Street. High Street. Fort Street Lane. Mr Elliott Sti-et and Old Market. Eden Terrace, New Ncrth Road. Hobson Street . Khyber Pass Road. Mount Eden Road. (b) Tho forming, kerbin?. channelling, and metalling of the following Bireots or portions thereof— Marine Parade. Anglcsea Street . Collinswocd Street. Willow Street. France Street The Strand Parnell. Gladstone Road, Parnell. Belmont Terrace. Mamie Street. Clonbern Road. Victoria Avenue. Gillies Avenue. Tho Drive, Epsom. St. Mark's Road. Gundry Street. 2. That the Auckland City Council, being unablo to provide the necessary funds for such works out of the ordinary revenue of the City, proposes to borrow a sum not exceeding £165,000. 3. That the proposed security for tho repayment of such loan shall be a Special ate of 2d in the £ on the annual value of all ratable property in the abovementioned portion of the City of Auckland. 4. That the Auckland City Council proposes to make such loan repayable in 33 years and proposes to make provision for the payment of a sinking fund of £1 per centum, per annum. 5. That tho Auckland City Council proposes to pay out of such loan such costs, charges and expenses as the Auckland City Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such loan, but not the interest and sinking fund thereon for the first year.
