BRITISH METAL STOCKS.

SUPPLIES NOW IN HAND. « A. and N.Z. LONDON, Dec. 20. The Ministry for Munitions announces that the stocks of important metals on December 1, exclusive of old metal and scrap, were: Copper 27,530 tons, spelter 25,312 tons, aluminium 10,215 tons, soft pig lead 49,111 tons, nickel 1735 tons', antimony 3303 tons. Similar announcements will be made on the first of every month. Large quantities of scrap metal, mainly brass, are in stock. The Ministry has cancelled a large number of orders restricting dealings with non-ferrous metals.
