LABOUR AND HEALTH.
RESEARCH INSTITUTED. A. and N.Z.-Reutcr. LONDON, Dec. 20. Tho Press Bureau states that the Department of Scientific Industrial Research and Medical Research Committee have been appointed an Industrial Fatigue Research Board, with Professor 0. S. Sherrington, of Oxford, as chairman, to investigate the conditions of Labour in different industries as affecting tho health of tho workers, especially as to the most, favourable spells of work and rest. Employers and workmen are invited to assist in the inquiry.
