The cable steamer Iris went into dock on Saturday for extensive cleaning and overhaul. She will bo in dock for a week and is expected to come out next Saturday. The Kaituna, which has been engaged for flome months in tho Westport-Auckland cool trade, is to make a trip off the coast and 13 to sail for Sydney to-day-The Arthurs, which sailed for the East Const on Saturday evening, is due back at Auckland on Friday. ' The large 4-masted American barque, Star of Lapland, will complete discharge- of the Auckland portion of tier cargo of case oil this morning. She is to be towed into the stream this afternoon and will probably sail for Sydney to-morrow. After discharging tho balance, of her cargo at Sydney alia is to load wheat there for America. The American barauentino, S. G. Wildor, has completed discharge of her cargo of case oil and is awaiting orders before sailing for the islands to load copra for America. | Captain A.
