TRANSFER OF GERMAN SUBMARINES TO ENGLAND.
MONETARY INDUCEMENTS OFFERED TO THE CREWS. IMMEDIATE RETURN TO GERMANY PROMISED, Anatralian and N.Z. (Received 7.30 p.m.) PARIS, Nov. 17. The Workmen's and Soldiers Council at Wilhelmshavcn, as an inducement to crews to take submarines to England, insured each member for £600, and offered a gratuity of £25. The Council announced that Admiral Sir R. E. Wemyss, First Sea Lord, promised that the crews would be free to returirto Germany immediately.
