!■ Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. <R«od. 7.40 p.m.) ' BRISBANE, Not. 18. The Slate Premier, Mr.' T. J. Ryan, declines to accede to the request by Mr. W. M. Hughes, Federal Prime Minister, that the Queensland Agent-General should support him in his protest against Australia not being coruulted regarding the peace terms. Mr. Byan has advised the Agent-General that is Government hesitated, particularly at this i juncture, to Assooiato itself with Mr. Hughes's condemnation of the Imperial Government, in the absence of positive evidence that the allied Governments would not deal fairly to protect the interests of the Overseas Dominions.
