PEACE SETTLEMENT.
CONFERENCE IN NEW YEAR, PRELIMINARIES MEANTIME. (Received 1.30 a.m.) Reuter. PARIS, Nov. 16. The semi-official allied discussion of poaco preliminaries is not likely to commence before November 30. Most of tho meetings will be held in Paris, but the plenary meetings will talta place at Versailles, It is generally anticipated that the Peace Conference proper will commence in the New Year. LLOYD GEORGE'S VIEWS. MR. WILSON'S ADMIRATION. (Received 1.30 a.m.) A. and N.Z.-Reutot. LONDON Not. 16. Tho Press Bureau states that Mr. Wilson has sent a message to Mr. Lloyd George as follows :— "May I express my sincoro admiration of the temper and purpose of your address to British employers and trades unionists j on Friday. It is delightful to be mado aware that such community of thought! and counsel exists in approaching the high and difficult task awaiting us."
