[bt TELEGRAPH.—PEESB association.] WELLINGTON. TWfflay. The Legislative Council met at 11.30 a.m.
After the transaction of formal business the Council adjourned for tho purpose of presenting the new Speaker, the on. W. C. F. Carncross, to the Governor-General.
On resuming at 2.30 p.m., the Legislative Council Act. 1914, Amendment Bill it as referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. The Council then adjourned till 2.30 p.m. on Tuesday. '
