BROWN.-On October 29. 1918, at the Auckland Hospital, John Samuel, dearlybeloved nephew of Mrs. Singer, 3, O'Neill Street, Ponuonby, and cousin of Bert and Basil Gwilliim, on active service in France; aged 25 years and 3 months. Wcißt Street, Newton, returned soldier, who left New Zealand with the Second Battalion N.Z.R.B. Funeral leaves tlio Hospital at 3.30 p.m. to-day (Thursday), for Waikumete Cemetery.
