KING'S EMPIRE VETERANS.

The quarterly meeting of the' King's Empire Veterans was held' yesterday, Major John Grant presiding. • The secretary, Captain' James Stlchbury, reported'that a member of the association who ; died recently had bequeathed his estate to tho association.- It was stated-that the death roll had been heavy during the last, quarter, the association having lost 10 member's. Reference- was made to the interest shown by members of' the association in the work of decorating the'troop trains. It. was decided to hold the annual picnic in December.
