Wheat is Quiet. Little Australian is offering Flour is unchanged. Colonial is not ottering. Oats are acaico and inactive. Beans and peas, which are in less request, are firmly held.

Abraham and Williams, Limited, report: — At Palmcrston North on Thursday wo had a moderate yarding of both sheep and cattle. There was a keen demand for all classes of cattle yarded, dairy heifers selling exceptionally well. We quote: Ewes and lambs to 30s id, hoggets to 265; forward cows, £8 10s to £10 2s fld; store . cows, £6 to £8 3s; springing hciferß, £14 to £18 ss; heifers, oalvpd, to £13; pure-bred Shorthorn bulls to 28gns. At Feilding on Friday, there was & large yarding of snoop and cattle. There was a good attendance of buyer*, and we sold practically the whole yarding at the following prices: fat ewes, 31s 6d to 88s; ewes and lambs to 26s 9d; mixed llogffets, 27s 6d to 325; mixed hoggets, small, 17s Id to 19s 4d; store oows to £7 3s 6d; two-year steers to £10 10s: yearling steers, £5 7s to £6; springing heifers, £8 to £9 15a; heifers, in milk, £7 to £8.
