The Daily Chronicle states that the Turkish Peace Note has not arrived, though there is reason to believe that the new Turk.sh Government has drafted it. It is pointed out that the Turkish Government is largely in Germany's power, as the Goeben and Black Sea squadron are able to overawe Constantinople. The British Government is willing to consider only bona-fide proposals. The Central News Agency states that Austria-Hungary and turkey have informed Germany of their acceptance of Mr. Woodrow Wilsons peace terms, as previously outlined. The Zurich correßiiondent of the Daily News says: Ixzet Pasha succeeds Enver Pasha as Turkish Minister for War. Enyer is trying desperately to retrieve the position. The Sultan is antagonistic to the Young Turks.
