..GAME AT THAMES. [BT TELECBAPH.—OWN COaEESPONDENT.J THAMES. Sunday. A football match under League rules was played here yesterday afternoon, between the Richmond Club and a side from the Auckland Post and Telegraph Department, the teams arriving by a special excursion steamer.. The match was fast and exciting, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the spectators. It resulted in a win for the Post and Telegraph players by 13 points to 10. For the winners tries wane scored by Daly, Cliffo, Hird, and Shark, and for Richmond by Seagar and Grigg, and J. Henderson kicked 2 goals. Mr. Clayton was referee.
