ADJUDICATION SOUGHT.

A BiTTCra of the Supreme-Court to consider bankruptcy business was held before Mr. Justice Rosking yesterday. An application to have Jessie Mary Mahaffey (Mi. McDonnell) adjudicated a bankrupt was ti*-de by Prank M. Winstone (Mr. Sttiut.'n). Mr. Stanton said that Mr. Winsto:*f> obtained a judgment against the <Lbk>r in the -Magistrate's Court on October 10, 1917, but no payment had been made by debtor. A writ of sale was applied for and granted by the Supreme Court. The sale of the property under the writ was advertised, but no sale took place, and the bankruptcy proceedings were instituted. Air. McConnell contended that the writ of sale was not properly executed, that it di'd not properly fallow the judgment of the Supreme Court, and that the property was not proporly described M the advertisement.
