A French communique says:—' morning our attack vas resumed at halfpaft fivp o'c!ock. We captured the villages oi Sammepy. and rarried the heights north ot Fontaine en-Dormois. We have taken more prisoners and guns. The battlo continues. Botween the Ailette and the Aisne the pressure of on r troops, and north -east of gancy vigorous loral operations, gave us ground and 250 prisoners, including 40 otScers. A counter-attack n ort luv ard of Allemont completely failed. Purther (outhnard we penetrated the ravine from Jouv t<> Aizy, and occupied these two Tillages.
