In all it was estimated that damf ; ages to the extent of £800 had been sus(i tained. To raise funds for the purpose of [Ij restoration a levy of a guinea * head had j i been imposed and a concert held. Several 1 substantial donations ' had. increased the I' I fund. The Auckland Sawnullers' Association r , had donated timber to the value of £90. t-i Thanks were tendered the various Auckland f ; rowing clubs for their assistance after- the a\ storm. The present club membership was U 172. of which -76 members were" absent. The \:\ roll of honour' held the' names of 149, of I'i which 17 bad paid the supreme \ sacrifice. ;. i The death of. Mr.j Murdoch' McLean, ' wno i % : had been a life member for 25 years, had |!j occurred during the year. .
