RETIREMENT OF THE TURKS.

The whole of the north-eastern Caucasus except Vladikavkaz, are now in the hands of the Cossacks, while the Kuban Cossacks have driven the Bolsbeviks out of the greater part of the north-west Caucasus.
The Bolsheviks are using Astrakan as their headquarters for contemplated operations in the Trans-Caspian. The Turks have retired from their positions on the Tabriz-Kasvin Road.
