FRUIT AND PRODUCE MARKET The fruit poultry and produce market* hufe been brisk during the week, and prices generally firmed at yesterday's sales. Potatoes (tablet show an advance of from 20s to 40s per ton. Onions were in full supply at high prices. Green vegetables were in good supply at advanced prices. Farmers' butter and eggs were in strong demand at an advance on last week's rates. Poultry continues in short supply, and extreme rates are ruling. The (mit market ha' been (airly supplied, principally with appltj .from Nelson and .Hawke's Bay, but owing to the lengthy storage the quality has deteriorated.
