MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

The Hon. G. W. Russell, Minister for Internal Affairs and Public Health, arrived in Auckland on Saturday morning. Tho Minister spent a busy morning at the Ministerial rooms, at the post office. He received a deputation at ten o'clock from the council of the Auckland Institute regarding the disposal of war trophies, and later he-received a large number of private deputations. In the afternoon he officially opened tho Returned Soldiers' Hostel, in Queen Street, The Minister left for Frankton by the Main Trunk express last night, and to-day he will proceed to Rotorua.
