ENEMY STORY OF BATTLE.
WITHDRAWAL ON AISNE.
LOSS OF HAM AN.D CHAUNY. (Received 5.5 p.m.) A. ana Router. LONDON. Sept. 7. A German-official wireless message states: Wo repulsed several attacks south of Ypres, on the Sommo and on the Oise. The enemy followed us up via Ham and Channy. Wo are in contact with the enemy east of Vailly, on the Aisne. We repulsed renewed American attacks on the heights north of Fismes. An earlier report stated: We repulsed strong enemy attacks from the Neuvillo, Manancourt, and Moislain/s line, from Peronne and over tho Somme. The enemy hesitatingly followed our rearguards. Between the Sommo and the Oiso the enemy pressed moro keenly. We completed the freeing of ourselves between the Oise and tho Aisne. We stand fighting in contact with tho enemy on a line Amigny, Barisis, Laffaux, Conde.
