' LOWER WAIKATO. , I The Auckland B representative team played the Lower Waikato fifteen on Eden Park on Saturday, defeating them by 23 points to 0. Auckland attacked first, and Kelly took a pot at goal. Waikato forcing. Waikato tried to get oven with a concerted rush from their own twentyfive, but good play by Auckland forwards stoDDed them near the Auckland twenty-five. A fast dribbling rush by the Auckland pack took play to the Waikato lino. Here Auckland were awarded a free kick, but Kelly missed an easy chance at goal. Half-time sounded without further score. On resuming, the visitors had commenced an attack, when Kecpa cut off i pass and sent, it back to Courtney, who passed on to Martin, who scored for Auckland. The kick failed. Auckland. 6: Waikato, 0. Auckland kept up tho attack, and although Holdcn, of Waikato, tried hard to make an opening ho was intercepted by Poison, who sent _ the ball to Courtney, who passed to Prentice, tho latter scoring. Marsden'e kick tailed. Auckland, 9: Waikato, 0. Still Auckland attacked, and a fine passing bout, initiated by Gallagher, enabled Prentice to score again- The kick failed. Auckland, 12; Waikato, 0. After a few minutes of give and take play, marked by good attacks by the Auckland pack, Prentice got the ball, and passed to Neiper, who scored. Marsdon converted. Auckland, 17: Waikato, 0. In the last spell Waikato more than once looked like scoring, but Auckland made too good a barrier, and after a auiok rush Clarke scored for the home team. Molloy failed with the kick. Auckland. 20; Waikato, 0. Just before time Marsdcn opened up a passing bout, and again receiving the ball, scored. Ho failed to convert his own try. The final scores ware:— Auckland .. 23 Lower Waikato .. .. 0 Mr. Baylisa was referee.
SACRED HEART MATCH.
PAST V. PRESENT.
Tho annual match, " Past T. Present Boys" of the Sacred Heart College, wa9 played on tho College grounds on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for the present boys by 16 points to 8. " Old Boys " attacked, first, and Foley did good work, but they were too eager. After fast play the game settled down in the " Old Boys" twenty-five. After a nippy attack McAuliffe got the ball for the " present," and scored between the posts. O'Connor failed to convert. Play was still fast and exciting. Dyer, following up a high kick, scored. He converted his own try. The "Old Boys" attacked at this stage, and after a scramble Woodley ecored, Golrtwater failing to convert. However, the present boys were prepared, and after play of an even character Dyer, outpacing Flynn, scored between the posts, converting his own try. Present boys again attacked, and from a free kick Dyer scored for them. Just before tune was called Harris scored for the "Old Boys," Burns converting, The final scores were:—

JUNIOR MATCHES. Third Ponsonbj, 39 points* defeated Green Lane, 6; Suburbs won from Grammar by default; Normal School won from Marists by default.
PRIMARY SCHOOLS MATCH.
In the Primary Schools' trial match the A team beat the B team by 6 points to 0, tries being scored by Shaw and Arrowsmith.
AUCKLAND V. THAMES.
TEAM FOR SATURDAY. The following team has been selected by Mr. G. Nicholson to play Thames on Saturday at Thames:—Kelly, Burns, Delgrosso, Molloy, Marsden, Wrighton, Poison, Martin, Molloy. Stahloy, _ Thomas, Marshall, Lock, Longville, Prentice. Resorvcs: Koepa, Hammond, Conyngham, Gallagher, Xronfeld.
HAMILTON BEATS GRAMMAR.
SCHOOL'S FIRST DEFEAT.
The Auckland Grammar School touring Rugby fifteen, which hitherto had an unbeaten record during its recent tour, was Wton by-a Hamilton "under twenty" representative team at Hamilton on Saturday, the scores being: Hamilton. 13; Grammar, 9. For Grammar School tries were scored by Strotton, Badoley, and Kronfeld, while tor the winners Hinton and Gillies scored, both tries being converted by Bayly, who also kicked a penalty goal. The game was a splendid one, Hamilton winning just on th» call of time.
