AUCKLAND HORSE SUCCESSFUL. A private cablegram received in Auckland Btates that tho Auckland-owned gelding British Arch won tho Hurdle Race run at Moorfiold Park on Saturday last. British Aroh is a half-brothel (by Marble Arch) to the New Zealand Grand National Hurdle Race winner. Kauri King. -
A.J.C. SPRING MEETING. A. and K.Z. BYDNEY, Sept. 7. Impediment was scratched day for the Epsom and Metropolitan Handicaps. HORSE BREEDERS' ASSOCIATION. A. and N-Z. SYDNEY, Sept. 7. A preliminary meeting of bloofl horse breeders, convened to protect their interests, decided to hold a conference of Australian and New Zealand breeders during the spring meeting of the A.J.C. Tho meeting recommended the provisional organisation of a blood horse breeders' association of Australia and New Zealand, to be formed with the object of promoting the development and improvement of the blood horse in both countries, the membership to be open to persons owning one or mere animals registered in tho Australian, New Zealand, and English stud books.
