Our troops this morning continued their progress on the whole front. , Wo have taken Carlepont, five miles south of Noyon, and Cuts, 4$ miles to the north-east. In the course of yesterday's advance between the Matz and the Oise we took 500 prisoners. East of the. Oise, between that river and the Aisne, we attacked this morning on a front of 15 miles from Bailly, five miles, south of Noyon, to the Aisne. On the left we reached the southern borders of the Forest of Oursehamps, the outskirts ;of Carlepont, 2J miles north-east of Bailly, and Cajsnes, two miles further to the northeast. In the centre we captured Lombray and Blerancourdelle, seven miles south-east of Noyon, and gained a footing on the plateau north of Vassens, a mile and a-half south-east of Andignicourt. On the right we captured the villages of Vezaponin, seven miles north-west of:Soissons, Tartiers, 5j miles north-west, Cuisy-en-Alruont, 3J miles north-west of Soissons, and Osly-Courtil, two miles east of Fontenoy.
