PROPOSED MEMORIAL CHURCH. A new church is proposed to be erected lat Foxton as a memorial to the late I Father Dore, formerly chaplain to the ! New Zealand Forces. This decision was J made at a meeting of the former ■ parishioners of the deceased priest in view j of the ke-?n desire he had frequently ex- ■ pressed that a new edifice should be proj vided in that parish The organisers of ' the movement have opened a subscription i list to afford the many trends of the late I Father Dore throughout the Dominion an I opportunity of subscribing and thus show.
