The Arahura arrivod from the East Coast on Saturday afternoon and borthod Ut the (Queen's Wharf. The vessel met with considerable delay on the coast owing to the heavy south-east swell. Further delay was caused on -the run from Gisborno by one of her engines breaking down. After repairs were completed the engmo could only bo run at a moderate speed, and the vcseel reached Auckland about five hours late. She is timed to tail again for the coast at 2 m. to-day. The Mapourika is due to arrive from Wellington this morning, and is to berth at the King's Wlitarf. She is timed to sail again, for Wellington direct at 4 p.m. to-morrow. .The R.M.S. Makura is due at daylight tnia morning from Vancouver. She will berth at the Queen's Wharf and sail again at 10 p.m. to-day for Newcastle. The Island steamer Talune will complete loading to-day at the King's Wharf. She is timed to «ail for Fiji, etc., at U a.m. Th*> Richardson steamer Awahou arrived from the East Coast on Saturday afternoon and berthed at the Central Wharf. The auxiliary schooner Houto which left Dunedm for Onehunja last Tuesday, arrived at the latter port on Saturday. She is loaded with general cargo from. South. When j discharged she will load timber for Lyttelton. 1 Cable advice has been reoeived of the arrival of the barque Antiope at San Francisco on July 16 from Auckland after a fast of 56 days. After discharge the Antiops will load cargo for New Zealand.
