AS TREY ARE STANDING IN FRONT OF YOU. Ocn boys are working night and day. , They aro fighting grimly, doggedly, with I magnificent courage, and we aro all Loping that their valour, endurance, and achievement in the counter-attacks that are now in progress will prove to the enemy the hopelessness of his position, and that tho end of this world-war is in sight. Edward A. Filene, a leading Boston merchant, writes:"l believe that everyj one of us who does not do his utmost to .help win this war will bo measurably , poorer and weaker. I " I believe those of us who have helped I most to win the war are going to bo the j ones who not only will stand first in the I estimation of our own communities, not I only be the first to whom our friends and I co-citizens will turn for guidance at the , end of this war, but will also be richer and stronger by the knowledge that they ■ have not failed their country in the time . of her great need. | " That moral strength will give them : the power and stamina to win success in their own struggles in business and for l the common good, where the man who , does not. have the high approval of his | own conscience and that of his fellow citizens will be more than likely to fail.''
