PRISONER IN GERMANY.
SOLDIER PROM MOUNT EDEN. Advice has been received by Mr. H. D. Driver, of Wynyard Road, Mount Eden, that his son, Private E. H. Driver, who was reported missing about three months ago, is a prisoner of war in Germany. Private Driver enlisted in the Eighteenth Reinforcements, and served continuously in Flanders for 18 months, taking part in the battles of Messines and Passchendaele. He is an old boy of the Grafton school, and of the Auckland Grammar School, where he held a junior national scholarship. Then, after matriculation, he studied at the Auckland University College, and had passed the first section for the B.A. degree at the time of his enlistment.
