DIARY OF THE WAR.
NEW ZEALAND'S PART. The Minister for Defence has been informed that the historical section of the War Cabinet is engaged in the compilation of a monthly diary of the war from its commencement. This diary, which is to be published, is in the nature of a chronological table of events connected with the war in all countries, The entries already made with respect to New Zealand are very far from complete, and the suggestion has been made that a diary of the Dominions war activities should be compiled, here, and forwarded to the War Lab-met Sir James Allen in answer to a question, stated in Wellington that 38TS &."""** in **• ecfc
