FRENCH NATIONAL FETE.

Hugo crowds witnessed a parade of allied troops, including a Czecho-Slovak detachment-, before the President, M. Poincare. GLOWING BRITISH TRIBUTE MESSAGE FROM THE ARMIES. (Keooivcd 11.40 p.m.) A. and Renter. LONDON, July 15. The Press Bureau states : Sir Douglas Haig sent the following message to M. Poincare" On the occasion of your national anniversary I take pleasure in expressing, on behalf of the British armies in France, our devoted admiration for the magnificent French Army. The rally of free nations in the past year in the fight for civilisation, and the closer cohesion of the allied military forces affords an assurance of victory," v OBSERVANCE IN SYDNEY. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Kecd. 10.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, July 15. The city wag gaily decorated with bunting to-day, and a parade of troops was held to celebrate the French national day.
