■ UNDER LEAGUE RULES, '. CITY DEFEATS -GRAFTON. Playinz under League rules. City defeated Grafton on Saturday at Victoria Park •by 25 points to 16. There was an attendance of close on 6000. The game started spectacularly, but City were by far the superior team, and then score mounted up as the afternoon wore on. ■ Grafton (black and white) started the ball rolling, but City (red and black) pressed, and the' same returned to mid-line.
