DEFENCE STORE BURNED.
HEAVY DAMAGE AT NELSON.
[Dt MUCRATU.— ASSOCIATION.]
KELSON, Friday. Fihe destroyed tho store room of the Defence Office last night, and fpread to the office of the adjutant of the 12th Regiment. Good work by tho brigade prevented further damage. Tho store was fully stocked with clothing and equipment, and the damage is estimated at several hundreds of pounds.
