A man, Isaac Chadwick Taylor, aged 35, years, fell into the Taruheru River last nii-ht during a rainstorm. Rescuers helped him out, but he succumbed shortly after. I ___ ' I FISHERMAN MISSING. LAUNCH WASHED ASHORE. [BY TELKGIUPH.—rRESS ASSOCIATION.] NELSON, Friday. I An elderly man, Charles Maker, a fisherman, has been missing from French Pass for several days. He left Nelson on Juno £L, intending to return to D'Urville Island, but has not been seen since. His launch was found was. cd up at Okuri Point. Baker is a single man, and lived alone on a small island off D'Urville Island. Ho lived at Picton formerly.
