Mr. J. D. Sievwright, of Wellington, is at the Star Hotel.
Mr. D. Arnold and Mr. 0. Ashtoti, of Dunedin, are at the Star Hotel.
Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Thvnne, of Morlinsville, are at the Royal Hotel.
Judge Holland, of the Native Land Court. left for Whangarei by the Manaia last night.
Mr. J. H. Fraser. of Durtedin, and Mr. R. W. Brickell, of Timaru, are at the Royal Hotel.
Lieutenant F. J. Treanor, R.X.Y.R , formerly on the Auckland staff of the Bank of New Zealand, took part m the recent naval raid on Zeebrugge. and was given a week's leave to recuperate.
Mr. Charles Leopold Leov. of Rai Valley, Nelson, died recently at the asa of 94. Mr. Leov arrived in New Zealand in 1864, and after engaging in business at Havelock. took up farming pursuits in the Pelorus district.
