ENEMY DOOMED TO FAILURE

Davidson. speaking at Murwillumbah, said the Australian press in its descriptions of the military situation this year had not been completely informed. He knew more and had better sources of information, and he said: "I tell you most emphatically, there is no chance of the Germans taking Paris, Calais, or Amiens. The Germans are staking all on their effort on the west front, but they are doomed to failure.
