Sir Douglas Haig reports : Wo repulsed a raid south-east of VillorsBretonneau, south of the Somme. \\ e made successful raids southwest of Albert and in the neighbourhood of Movenneville, south of Arras. Patrol encounters occurred east of Xieppe Forest, in Flanders. The hostile artillery has been more active south of Albert, and active west of Serre.
A French communique issued at 4 p.m. states: Successful local operations were carried out south of the Aisne, in the region of Ambleny, and east of Montgobert. There was patrol activity between the Ourcq and the Marnc. The night was quiet elsewhere.
