ARMY OFFICER CHARGED.
LONDON, May 14. Twenty-itvb charges ' against LieutenantColonel Mackay, assistant-provost marshal, western command, were heard at Westminster before a court-martiaL -The charges relate to Mackay's alleged transference of men from the army to the military foot police and then securing them ~" private employment as gardeners; "poulfey ; farmers, and chauffeurs on estates belonging to friends, including American % and London ladies. In another case ft W I alleged that Mackay cancelled the -call-up ~ H ', notices of two servants of a club of which - he was a member.
