MT. ROSKILL ROAD BOARD.
The Mount Roekill Road Board'met on Tuesday night, Mr. G. E. Tansley presiding. Several applications for the- position of pumping engineer were referred to the board in committee. The chairman reported that the- Onehunga Borough Council was willing to maintain its half of the Manukau Road, opposite the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board's property. At the request of the City Council. it was agreed that Messrs. Tansley and Peet should meet the Works Committee of the City Council to discuss the question of the upkeep of boundary roads. The foreman reported several persona having removed scoria from the board's pit without permission, and it was decided to prosecute offenders hi the future.
