WOMAN ENTERS POLITICS.
FIRST CONTEST FOR SEAT. Times. LONDON, May 13. Mrs. Anderson, wife of Mr. W. C. Anderson, Labour member for Atterciiffe, Sheffield, has been adopted as the Labour candidate for Stourbridge, the first woman so adopted by any English political party. She is secretary of the Women's Trade Union League.
