AIDS TO EMIGRATION.
NEW SCHEME IN BRITAIN. CENTRAL AUTHORITY. (Received 8.30 p.m.) Renter. LONDON. May 13. Mr. Walter Long, Secretary of State for the Colonies, has introduced & Bill in the House of Commons to improve the organisation affording information and assistance to emigrants from the United Kingdom. It aims at providing for the establishment of "a central emigration authority for the supervision of passage-brokers, agents and emigration societies.
